Using the Navigation Tree button expand Sales - Transaction Processing then click Credit Notes.

2Click on the New button.

If you know the Customer Id type it into the Customer search field then press your <Tab> key.
Alternatively, click the Search button then enter any desired search criteria. Click Find to display the search results then select the appropriate Customer Id hyperlink.

Type the original invoice docket number (where the goods being refunded were sold on) into the Original Docket field. The Search button is available to search from.

If applicable, type the Back Order number into the B/O field.

Select the type of credit note to be processed from the drop down arrow  in the Type field.

Type in the Reason for the credit note. The Search button is available to search from.

8If there is an original docket, click the Load Details button in order for the original transaction details to be displayed.
Alternatively, if there is no original docket, click the Add button under the tab and enter the product code and the corresponding details.

Type in the Reason for the credit note against the transaction line (the Search button is available to search from).

Once completed, click on the Finish button to save the credit note.

  • Stock movements occur against the assigned branch and not the original branch. 
  • GL movements occur against the assigned branch and not the original branch.
